Chicago Trump International Hotel and Tower

Home to some of the most beautiful architecture and famous residences, Chicago will soon sport Trump International Hotel and Tower.  This high rise condominium is scheduled for completion in 2009 and is located on Wabash Avenue along the Chicago river.  The tower will offer all of the luxuries that have become associated with Trump projects along with an unobstructed panoramic view of the lake shore and skyline.

At 92 stories, Trump International Tower and Hotel will lay claim to being the second tallest building in the United States and the world's tallest residential building.  This impressive tower has a unique design in that the facade of the building consists of three setbacks.  The vista of glass and stainless steel creates a stunning reflection of the three nearest buildings.  The first setback mirrors the Wrigley Building.  The second reflects the image of the Marina City Towers.  The third and final setback complements the structure of 330 North Wabash.  This extension of the skyline by use of reflection enhances and completes the overall view.

Lake Michigan and the Chicago River give residents and visitors a spectacular waterfront to enjoy.  All of the events planned around the waterways are within easy access, as well as the beaches for personal enjoyment and recreation.  Millennium Park and Lincoln Park are close by and provide acres of gardens and pathways for outdoor activities nearly all year long.  Precious spots of solitude can be found in the midst of the excitement of Chicago.

With the Tower being situated near the Loop, Michigan Avenue and so many other routes of transportation, everything the city has to offer is only minutes away.   Dozens of designer retailers and fashion boutiques are located all along the Avenue and Oak Street.  The limitless shopping district of Marshall Fields is not far from the Tower.  Parking isn't a concern as nearly everything is close enough for walking access.

Trump International Hotel and Tower residents will have ample choice of cultural and artistic events to attend.  The Art Institute of Chicago can be reached by foot as well as the Chicago Cultural Center.  Countless exhibits and art shows are available for public viewing.  The Adler Planetarium and the Field Museum of Natural History are only a short distance south of the Tower and offer educational fun for both children and adults.  If an elegant evening out is on the agenda, a performance at the theater, Chicago Symphony Orchestra or the Jazz Showcase are all near by.  Cap off the night with dinner at one of the fine restaurants that grace the community.

For residents with children, Chicago public school zoning at present provides for education at Ogden School and Wells Community Academy High School.

With 472 Chicago luxury condominiums and 286 five-star condo units, Trump Hotel and Tower certainly will not lack for space.  The current design plan is for floors 17 to 89 to be used for residences.  Further plan details include an exceptional ground floor lobby with retail outlets on the 1st and 2nd floors.  Secure parking will be housed on floors 3 through 12.

A 60,000 square foot fully equipped health club, exercise facility and spa will be installed on level 14 and the Mezzanine.  A heated indoor swimming pool is another amenity residents will enjoy. Condos and an executive lounge take up floors 17 through 89.  Finally, the incredibly luxurious penthouse suites will occupy floors 86 through 89.

Buyers who purchase a guest room residence at the Trump Hotel and Tower can utilize them for either business or personal use.  Owners may occupy them as much or as infrequently as they need, with no minimum length of stay required.  When unoccupied, the Hotel will assume care of the unit.

The private condos are painstakingly finished on the interior and display floor-to-ceiling glass windows for a breathtaking view of the waterways and city.  Room ceilings are 10 feet high, giving the unit a feeling of freedom.  Walk-in closets allow for generous storage and most two and three bedroom condos include a fireplace. Units will be decorated with a European style and have fully equipped kitchens and complete electronic and communication sources. One, two and three bedroom suites will be available.

Prices for the condo units are stated to start in the low $800,000 range and subject to chage without advance notice.  Local television station WGN reported in February of 2005 that the top floor condominium sold for $28 million.

With the luxury living associated with Trump International Hotel and Tower, these incredible condominiums are expected to be a popular real estate investment when completed.  More information on pricing can be obtained at the Tower's official website or offices.
