1939 Damen Ave

In just over 10 years, Bucktown has been transformed from a rundown section of Chicago into one of the premier neighborhoods in the city. The area offers several incredible loft and condo developments with modern amenities within minutes of downtown Chicago.

One incredible development currently on the market is located at 1939 N Damen Ave. This four-story building was fully restored to its former glory and now offers several three bedroom lofts.

There are currently several units available on the market. A three-bedroom loft with 2.5 baths is listed at $599,000. The unit has low monthly assessments of $165. Another three-bedroom loft at 1939 Damen Ave offers a total of 2,500 square feet of living space with three bedrooms for $725,000. This unit comes with all the extras, including four private decks.

Residents of 1939 Damen Ave enjoy a number of incredible amenities, including walk-in closets, hardwood floors, and giant windows that let in plenty of natural light. Each unit also comes with granite countertops and an appliance package in the kitchen, Jacuzzi tub and marble vanity tops in the bathroom, and plenty of private outdoor space.

Residents also enjoy two assigned spaces and a washer and dryer per unit.

One of the main draws of the lofts at 1939 Damen Ave is the location in the heart of Bucktown. The neighborhood is packed with excellent nightlife, a vibrant arts scene, restaurants, and cultural events.

Damen Ave is home to several restaurants and stores, making it easy for residents to enjoy a night out on the town or run errands without going too far from home.

The area is also home to quick connections with downtown Chicago via trains, CTA buses and expressways. The El is located just five blocks from home, and a Metra station is also located within a few blocks.

Residents looking to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet can enjoy the walking trails and open space at Humboldt Park, just a few minutes from home. Wicker Park is another popular park in the area.

If you’re in the market for a new condo or loft in Bucktown, keep up with the latest news coming out of the real estate market in the area to make the best decision for you and your family. Bucktown is a part of the Logan Square neighborhood.

According to the Chicago Association of Realtors, sales of condos and lofts in Logan Square have dropped after several years of frenetic activity in the area. A total of 179 condos were sold in the area during the third quarter, a 10 percent drop from last year and the second year in a row of fewer sales.

The drop in sales has led to more unsold condos and lofts sitting on the market, putting pressure on prices. The average turnover time for a condo or loft on the market is now at 111 days, a 25 percent increase from last year and the longest turnover time since 1997.

Prices continued to rise during the quarter, up three percent over the same period last year. However, if demand doesn’t pick up in the short term, buyers may start to see lower prices for condos and lofts in Logan Square.
