February 8, 2010 - Astoria Tower is having an open house this coming weekend, February 13th and 14th, from noon to 5PM. It would be a good time to check out this Chicago real estate development if you’ve been interested in it. The 248 unit Astoria Tower is located on 8 East 9th Street.

As we pointed out a few posts ago, the junior one bedroom condos at this development have been reduced and now start from $159,800. The one bedroom condos now start from $189,800 and the one bedroom plus den units are priced from $235,800. The larger two bedroom condos are listed from $318,800.

This South Loop tower is also offering condo buyers some mortgage incentives. If you meet their qualifications and can put 5% of the purchase price down, then you can lock in a 30 year and 15 year balloon mortgage with 5% interest rates (5.162% and 5.123% APR) and no insuranace charges. If you can scrape up 30% down you’ll get an even better deal in that you can have only one mortgage with a 4% interest rate (4.178%APR).

The spa amenities part of Astoria Tower Residences and Spa include a sauna, hot tub, swimming pool, massage room, fitness room and hair salon.

So if you’re looking for some pampering with your condo, Astoria may be perfect for you. If not, you have lots of other Condos In Chicago from which to choose.
