July 1, 2009 - A few posts ago we told you about Jameson Realty lowering prices on The Clarovista, or Granville as it was originally christened. A bit more information has been released about the pricing. The available one bedroom, one bath units at The Clarovista are now listed in the low $100,000s. The two bedroom condos are running from the $150,000 range and up. Depending on the floor plan they have one or two baths. The larger three bedroom, two bath units are now priced from the $270,000s and up.

Around half of the condos in this 160 unit Chicago real estate development are under contract, so there are plenty of units still available. The condos measure up from around 903 to 1,580 square feet, and are ready for move-in. The new prices are supposedly in effect for the next 40 contracts that are signed, but that could take some time given how sales are going right now. Preferred lender National City Mortgage is still offering loans at between 1.5% and 3.5% below market rate for the condos.

A quick refresher on the condo finishes is what you’d expect. Balconies, GE stainless steel kitchen appliances, granite counter tops, custom maple cabinets, hardwood floors, Grohe fixtures and marble baths. For the pricing, The Clarovista may be a good value if the condos are to your liking.
