Water Color Condos Frame Panoramic Views

December 2, 2008 - A relatively new Chicago real estate development built in 2007 that hasn’t gotten much press but wins points for creative and artistic name is Water Color Condominiums. The building is located on North Kenmore Avenue in Buena Park and the product of Delphi Ventures. The development has 23 residential condos with 2 to 3 bedroom floor plans. Of those 23 condos there are still just over a dozen left for sale.

If you check out any of the listings for condos in Water Color Condos, you’ll find the phrase “out of the ordinary amenities” used frequently. The condos do have luxury finishes, but these days that isn’t exactly out of the ordinary. The units have either a balcony or deck, depending on the level, and some of the 3 bedroom condos have a hot tub installed in the master bath. Other perks include the expected stainless steel kitchen appliance package, granite counter tops and hardwood flooring.

Living at Water Color would put you within walking distance of Wrigley if you are a baseball fan, the lake, parks, easy public transportation access and plenty of restaurants and retail. One especially attractive feature of the building is the deck on the roof top. From there you can take in a panoramic view of downtown and the lake from every direction. For a lot of buyers, condos in Chicago with great views can seal the deal.

Pricing on the remaining 2 bedroom condos start in the $340,000s and the 3 bedroom units begin at around $380,000. If you have doubts about whether or not you’ll be able to get financing for a new condo, it might help to review the information on Chicago credit repair before applying for a loan.
